Photography has been part of my life for decades. As Chief Editor of my high school yearbook, I often carried a camera. I felt a strong sense of responsibility in being entrusted to capture memories for others to enjoy for years. Later I realized that my photos showed my classmates not just what I saw, but how I saw it. I was capturing memories, and helping to craft them.
Fast-forward to today, and I’ve traveled the world. I’ve visited marvelous places, and through my photos I hope to bring those places home to you. In that, I feel a familiar sense of responsibility. But just like 20 years ago, I hope to show you not just what I see of the world, but how I see it. If I’m successful, maybe you’ll feel inspired to travel, setting out to capture your own memories to enjoy for years.
